Fleetwood Windows & Doors Takes Part in Palisade Wildfire Rebuild Efforts
Manufacturer Joins with Palisades Organizations to Support Collaborative Wildfire Rebuild Efforts
CORONA, CA, October 28, 2025 – Fleetwood Windows & Doors – the premier manufacturer of aluminum framing systems for luxury homes – has joined local nonprofits, like Case Study 2.0 and Build Back Pali, in the effort to rebuild following the destructive Palisades and Eaton wildfires in January 2025. Most recently, Fleetwood has joined Team Palisades to sponsor a fire resiliency panel at the upcoming WestEdge Design Fair in Santa Monica, CA, from November 20-22, 2025.
Fleetwood’s luxury window and door products are built to exceed industry standards for quality and durability, so they already meet fire resiliency, extreme weather, and coastal needs. Their products are engineered with 6063T aluminum and marine-grade stainless steel, both noncombustible materials. When paired with tempered glass, they meet the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) and Title-24 codes, making them ideal for resilient homes. Plus, their products are backed by their renowned Transferrable Lifetime warranty, guaranteeing the homeowner coverage even when the property changes hands.
“The Palisades fire took a devastating toll on our neighbors, family, and friends,” said Rebecca Cottrell, General Manager of Fleetwood Windows and Doors. “Having been part of this community for more than 60 years, we naturally want to assist in its recovery. Our commitments to Team Palisades and Case Study 2.0 reinforce our responsibility to help our region rebuild stunning homes that are more resilient against California’s notorious wildfires.”
As a Southern California company, Fleetwood was in close proximity to the fires. To assist, they created their own Fire Rebuild Program to help those seeking to rebuild and teamed up with groups like Team Palisades, a local non-profit organization founded to support residents recovering and rebuilding after the nearly month-long wildfire.
“We appreciate companies like Fleetwood that are willing to support the efforts of Team Palisades and offer discounted services or products for fire survivors,” said Jenny Weigle-Bonds, community manager for Team Palisades. “A collaborative and consistent relationship with these companies is critical to the efforts to rebuild LA, and to get Palisadians home.”
Fleetwood has also partnered with Case Study 2.0, a program organized by Crest Real Estate, to create elevated home plans that can be easily adopted for rebuilding property owners. Each residence, designed individually and distinctly by one of more than 60 architects, is planned in advance and can be quickly approved by municipalities for a rebuild process with less red tape. To qualify, homes must be of a distinguished design, be specified with fire-resilient materials, and have an average cost per square foot of $500 to $800.
“The assistance of material suppliers such as Fleetwood has been a critical component enabling us to build beautifully while controlling cost,” said Steven Somers, CEO of Crest Real Estate. “The initiative has resonated tremendously with the public, and several homeowners have already signed up for specific designs to be built in the Palisades and Altadena, which is truly exciting to see.”
WestEdge Design Fair attendees are invited to attend the fire resiliency panel, brought to you by Fleetwood and Team Palisades and moderated by Frances Anderton, on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 3:00 p.m. Full details can be found on the WestEdge Design Fair website.
