Fleetwood helps restore timeless design

Fleetwood is a proud sponsor of Modernism Week, a celebrated event honoring mid-century modern design, architecture, art, and culture in Palm Springs, CA. Fleetwood has been a part of multiple Modernism Week projects and homes over the last few years. Take a look at these projects and the Fleetwood products used below.

Fleetwood's windows and doors assisted in preserving and restoring these projects, highlighting the products versatility in application, specifically in vintage mid-century modern homes.

The Sackley-Chase Sensation

Fleetwood’s aluminum windows and doors bring new life to the 1970s Palm Springs landmark, the Sackley-Chase Sensation, preserving its bold geometry and minimalist spirit while enhancing comfort and performance for modern living.

A recent update by Roger Stoker and Michael Ostrow of Grace Home Furnishings focused on preserving the home's minimalist aesthetic while integrating contemporary performance. Fleetwood’s high-performance windows and doors were instrumental in maintaining the clean lines and open feel of the original design, all while enhancing energy efficiency and durability.

Adam West House

Designer Michelle Boudreau masterfully blended modern patterns and textures in a palette that complements the Palm Springs landscape, while also adding bold pops of matte black throughout. Highlights include a sleek, recessed bar with a passthrough Fleetwood window, seamlessly tying style and function together.

Boudreau noted that the indoor-outdoor living style, so prevalent in Palm Springs, made Fleetwood the perfect choice for the project. The entire back of the home’s main living spaces are a series of floor-to-ceiling windows and massive sliding doors that open to a close up view of the San Jacinto Mountains.
